Aguaytía, Peru ... [ASN] Aguaytia, a town in Peru's eastern jungle banks of the mighty river of the same name, experienced a miraculous rain. During the first three months of the year, geographic location, this place is strongly affected by bad weather that often, usually stop everyday activities. However, from 6 to 12 February, the city experienced another kind of rain: a rain of Hope.
Those responsible for this phenomenon: 22 youths belonging to the Project "1000 missionaries, led by Nik D Yang. This team participated in this evangelistic campaign in compliance with the penultimate stage of evaluation to be graded as "1000 missionaries."
The entire group arrived in town on Sunday 6 to specifically target the town of El Boqueron, famous for having one of the largest tunnels in Peru. In that place broke forth a blessed and refreshing "Rain of Hope."
Pastor Aguaytía missionary district, Ever Saavedra Jiménez, expressed his "gratitude and admiration for the work they did the young participants of this project, because in just a week performed feats in the name of God." So, on Saturday 12 February, with the presence of Pr José Chávez and the CPC. Nelson Ponce, both representing the administration of the Mission of Eastern Peru, in the midst of a torrential tropical rain and 200 expectant people, 24 souls went down into the baptismal waters receiving a "Rain of Hope in their hearts.
